We are two best friends from the Washington DC Metropolitan area who have decided to create a blog to celebrate the Champagne, toast worthy moments of being a 20-something. While also being the Cozy couch to crash on when life hits the fan. Our posts are all about encouraging people who read them to see the celebration of life in the little things. Our posts are also a place of support in trying to live a champagne lifestyle while dealing with the post college, first job? no job? this job sucks… beer me, budget.
Our content is representative of our experiences. These years of exploring the unknown and putting ourselves out of our comfort zones do not make us experts in life. However, they do help in writing some pretty good blog posts.
Ultimately, after twelve-ish years of friendship we decided a few mimosas wouldn’t be enough to commemorate this accomplishment – so we created a blog. We are also passionate about sharing our experiences in life with our friends, family, and Internet companions in order to develop a long lasting relationship with us, too. By sharing our love of celebrating life we hope to create a place to come to during your lunch break, heart break, bank break, spring break, etc. So sit back, get cozy, and enjoy!
Meet Kristen Casey, a Northern Virginia-based dog mom, major shopaholic, and cab sauv aficionado. After countless presentations, group assignments, and way too many soy lattes, Kristen earned a degree in Communication – Public Relations from Radford University. When she’s not developing an exhilarating, new blog post, you can find her rooting for her beloved Washington sports teams or devoting her time to her career in marketing. She loves to express herself through social media and is passionate about encouraging people to live beyond their comfort zones.
Meet Courtney Kramer, a girl who takes her morning, no-sugar-with-an-espresso-shot coffee equally as serious as her evening, make-it-as-oaky-as-possible chardonnay. Courtney completed her journey of earning a master’s degree in Social Work at GMU. Shortly after, she moved to Asheville, NC to pursue a career, personal growth, and a few tattoos. She avoids pouring from an empty mug or wine glass by finding her self-care fix in writing creative blog posts. Given her plethora of knowledge in the helping fields, she finds peace in assisting others with their overall wellness.
